Maclean Township

Maclean is very proud of its Scottish heritage and has been proclaimed "The Scottish Town in Australia". The clans invade for the Highland Gathering every Easter.

Rocks from around Australia and Scotland have been used to construct a large Scottish Cairn. Many street signs carry Gaelic translations and hundred of power poles along the main streets have been painted in brilliant tartans identified with their clan name.
